I Could Do no Less
I could do no less than what I have done,
Though I know in the end, the disease will have won.
No quarter, no mercy, the disease runs its course.
How can we halt this unstoppable force?
God has a purpose, though I don't understand.
There is naught I can do, but put it all in His hands.
I wish I had the knowledge to help find a cure.
But it's far beyond me, I know that much is sure.
Though I know in the end, the disease will have won.
I could do no less than what I have done.
